      If the motor of your Remington chainsaw does not run when you squeeze the trigger: 1. Ensure the switch lockout is pushed forward to release the trigger. 2. Check the extension cord connections to make sure they are not loose. 3. Check the line fuse or circuit breaker. 4. Contact an authorized service center to check worn out motor brushes. 5. Contact an authorized service center to check for an open wiring circuit on the saw.

      If your Remington chainsaw chain is not getting oil: 1. Remove the guide bar and clean the oil slot, as it may be clogged. 2. Use the correct weight of oil, as the current oil may be too thick. Check the manual section about Filling Oil Tank. 3. Remove the cap and clean the vent hole, as the vent in the oil cap may be clogged. 4. Remove the filter in the oil reservoir and clean it, as it may be clogged. 5. The pump may be damaged, in this case do not use the saw and contact an authorized service center.
