STARTING THE ENGINE: vehicle with RENAULT Card (continued)
Special note for vehicles with a
Quickshift gearbox
Depress the brake pedal with the
lever in the N position.
Note:
If a gear other than neutral is
selected, its symbol on the display
will flash. In this case, you can only
start up by pressing the brake pedal
while in possession of the
RENAULT Card.
Accessories function
To access certain functions with the
engine stopped, (radio, navigation,
etc.) press button 3 only, without
depressing any pedal, while in
possession of the RENAULT Card.
Starting with the tailgate open
Insert the card into the card reader 4
if you wish to start the engine with
the tailgate open.
Operating faults
In certain cases, the RENAULT Card
may not work:
- vehicle located in a zone of high
electromagnetic radiation,
- use of appliances operating on the
same frequency as the card
(mobile phone, video game, etc.);
- drain on the RENAULT Card
battery, flat battery, etc.
Display 2 of the trip computer will
show the “No card detected”
message followed by “Insert card”.
Insert the RENAULT Card fully into
card reader 4.
