REAR BENCH SEAT: functions (continued)
• When returning the seatback to
its normal position, make sure
that it is properly locked at the
top. Where seat covers are fitted,
make sure these do not prevent
the seatback latch from locking
in.
• When moving the rear bench
seat, ensure that the seat belt
units are correctly fitted before
folding up the seat base. When
the bench seat has been put back
in place, make sure that the seat
belts are correctly repositioned.
To replace the seat base, proceed in
the reverse order of removal.
Lift the bench seat cushion in order
to position the rear of the seat base 1
underneath the seatback.
Then push the front 3 of the cushion
A in order to lock the seat base.
To replace the seat base, proceed in
the reverse order of removal.
Replace the seatback and lock it
against its support.
