LOCKING AND UNLOCKING THE DOORS
Locking/unlocking from the
outside
This is done using the RENAULT
remote control: refer to
“Key/radiofrequency remote
control: general information” and
“RENAULT CARD: general
information”.
In some cases, the key /
radiofrequency remote control and
the RENAULT Card may not work:
• vehicle located in a zone of high
electromagnetic radiation,
• use of appliances operating on the
same frequency as the card
(mobile phone, etc.);
• drain on the RENAULT Card
battery, flat battery, etc.
It is then possible:
• to use the door locking and
unlocking control inside the
vehicle (refer to the information
on “Locking and unlocking” in
Section 1).
• to use (depending on the vehicle)
the remote control key 1,orthe
integrated emergency key on the
card (or separate emergency key
3) for the front left-hand door
only;
• to manually lock each of the doors
(refer to the information on
“Locking/unlocking the doors” in
Section 1);
Using keys 1 and 3
Insert the key into the lock 2 then
lock or unlock.
