EMERGENCY SPARE WHEEL
The emergency spare wheel is
located underneath the vehicle.
- Open the tailgate;
- lift the carpet 1;
- lift cover 2 then remove it,
- remove the tool kit by lifting it
with the handles.
Label 3 explains how to operate
the emergency spare wheel
winch.
- Unscrew nut 4 anticlockwise until
it comes off completely, then place
thepalmofyourhandonsection
A of handle 5 and push towards
the front of the vehicle; the wheel
will be lowered.
No-one should be
underneath the vehicle
when you press handle 5.
When you press handle 5,keep
your feet well away from the
vehicle.
-pullthewheeltowardsyou,
- lay the wheel down flat and
unfasten cable 6 from its housing 8.
- depending on the vehicle, remove
shim 7.
You may remove the wheel from its
support.
Do not touch the exhaust
as it could burn.
