WARNING LIGHTS (4/4)
The presence and operation of the warning lights depend on the vehicle equipment and country.

Coolant temperature warn-
ing light
The warning light comes on when the
ignition is switched on, and goes off
after a few seconds. If it comes on
when driving (
® the warning light
and beep), stop the vehicle as soon as
possible in a safe area, and wait for
the temperature to drop. If it is still on,
check the coolant level.
Contact an approved dealer as soon as
possible.

Driver’s seat belt reminder
warning light B
Once the engine is running, if the driv-
er’s belt has not been fastened, the
integrated indicator on the display B
comes on and when a speed of 12 mph
(20 km/h) is reached, a beep sounds for
more than 120 seconds and the indica-
tor light flashes. After 120 seconds, just
the indicator light is on.

Oil pressure warning light
The warning light comes on
when the ignition is switched on, and
goes off after a few seconds. If it comes
on when driving (
® the warning
light and beep) it is essential to stop
and switch off the ignition.
Check the oil level (refer to the informa-
tion on the “Engine oil level” in Section
4). If the level is correct, the light has
come on for another reason; consult an
approved dealer.

Low fuel level warning light
The warning light comes on
when the ignition is switched on, and
goes off after a few seconds. If it comes
on when driving, along with a beep, top
up the level as soon as possible.

Battery charge warning light
The warning light comes on
when the ignition is switched on, and
goes off after a few seconds. In the
event of a fault ® it comes on
along with a beep. This indicates over-
charging or discharging of the electri-
cal circuit. Stop as soon as traffic con-
ditions allow and consult an approved
dealer.
