Tell-tale light showing the
status of the doors, etc. 3
The tell-tale light 3 shows if any
doors, etc. are open:
- When all doors, etc. are locked,
tell-tell light 3 comes on.
- When a door or tailgate is open (or
not properly closed), tell-tale light
3 goes out.
When you lock the doors using the
remote control, tell-tale light 3 stays
lit for approximately one minute
and then goes out.
Note: On vehicles which are not
equipped with a radio frequency
remote control, tell-tale light 3 stays
lit for approximately 40 minutes
after the doors have been locked.
If you decide to keep the
doors locked when you are
driving, remember that it
may be more difficult for
those assisting you to gain access to
your vehicle in the event of an
emergency.
