BATTERY FILTERS
The battery does not need to be
serviced: never open cover 1.
Handle the battery with
care as it contains
sulphuric acid which must
not come into contact with
the eyes or skin. If it should, wash
the affected area with plenty of
cold water.
Keep all flames, red-hot objects and
sparks away from the battery as
there is a risk of explosion.
The filter components (air filter,
particle filter, diesel filter...) should
be replaced during the maintenance
operations carried out on your
vehicle.
Filter component replacement
frequency: see the Servicing booklet
for your vehicle.
Take care when working
under the bonnet as the
engine cooling fan may
cut in at any moment.
