12. Troubleshooting
You are having trouble connecting the radio to your wireless network.
• Check if another device, such as a computer or tablet, can access the internet through the WLAN-network.
• Checkifyourrouter'sDHCPserverisrunning,whetherthestaticIPaddressisproperlyconguredwiththeentire
conguration(subnetmask,standardgateway)intheradio.
• Ensurethatyourrewallisn’tblockingthenecessaryoutboundports.
• SomeaccesspointsarecongurednottoadmitanynewdevicesaslongastheirMACaddresshasnotbeen
enteredonthecongurationpageintheaccesspoint.Forthis,observethemanualofyouraccesspointorrouter.
YoucanndtheMACaddressasfollows:
"Information" > "Netzwork Information" > "WiFi MAC" (WLAN MAC address) or "LAN MAC" (MAC address for
connection via network cable)
• Check if the right WLAN password has been entered. Observe capitalisation.
The radio is connected to your network but does not play specic stations:
• The radio station may not be broadcasting right now. This may be connected to different time zones as well.
• It is possible that too many visitors are trying to access the station's server at the same time. This may cause an
overload.
• Itisalsopossiblethatonlyaspecicnumberofusersmayaccesstheserveratatime,andthatthisnumberhas
currently been reached.
• It is possible that the station does not broadcast at all anymore.
• Thelinkledtotheinternetradiostationmaynotbeuptodateanymore.Thelinksareupdateddaily.Usually,the
station should be available again one or two days later.
• It is possible that the internet connection between a radio station in another country and your connection is
temporarily or permanently too slow. Try out if you can play back the station on a computer or another device.
You want to use the media server function, but the radio does not nd any device in the
network:
• Check if the radio is connected to your network. The radio and the media server also must be in the same network.
• Arewallthatmayblockaccesstothereleasedorpublicfoldersisactiveonyourmediaserver.Forthis,observe
themanualofyourrewallifrequired.
