Cable inspection
The isolation on the cable must be flawless, and without cracks. In doubt please contact your RENO-dea-
ler.
Inspection of voltage
Please see if the voltage displayed on the regislation plate is equivalent to the voltage in your power sup-
ply.
Inspection of current intensity and fuse conditions
Please check if your electricity supply is sufficient with the electricity supply displayed on the registration-
plate.
2.2 Power connection
Wrong current connection of the machine can lead to life threatening electrical chocks. The machine must
only be connected to electrical circuits with earth connection. It is recommenced that the machine is con-
nected to a current source with a HFI- relay.
Warning!
Do not not ever remove safety valves or quick couplings when pressure has been build up in the
tank. The high compressed air pressure can make the safety valves and couplings jump out as
projectiles.
3.1 Function
The compressor compresses atmospheric air to a high pressure by the means of the compressor. After
this the air is stored in the tank unit. Now the stored compressed air can be used as propellant for tools
etc. (Please see under part 3.2)
3.2 Use
The compressor should primarily be used as propellant for tools such as air impact wrenches, air drills,
air sanders, air polishers, air spray guns, air screw drivers. In addition the compressors are widely used
to controlling production processes. If the compressor is used for other purposes please contact a Reno
dealer.
It is of great importance that the user of the compressor knows the capacity of the compressor in propor-
tion to the tools which is being used. It is essential that there is a harmony between the compressors‘
delivered air and the tools‘ air consumption. If there is a disharmony the compressor can be overloaded.
3.3 Limitation of use.
The compressor can not directly be used for respiration purposes. The air in the compressor is not clean
enough. If questions regarding compressed air for respiration should appear please contact Reno.
4.1 Placement
The compressor can be placed all over where it is dry. In order to secure the maximum air intake the
distance between the compressor and the wall should not be less than 50 cm. In addition it is recommen-
ded that the compressor is placed in a cool room. Howerver the temperature in the invironment surroun-
ding the compressor should not go below 0° C.
