Why does the treatment pressure seem low on my ResMed Medical Equipment?
    • K
      karen88Aug 5, 2025
If the treatment pressure seems low on your ResMed Medical Equipment, it might be because the Delay Timer is in use; either wait for the pressure to build up or press the Start button. Other potential causes include dirty air filter strips (replace them), kinked or punctured air tubing (straighten or replace it), improperly connected air tubing (check and tighten both ends), missing plugs from mask ports (replace them), or changed pressure requirements for your treatment (adjust the pressures).

How to stop air leaking from my ResMed CPAP S6 mask?
    • E
      Eric Rodriguez IIIAug 13, 2025
If air is leaking around your nose and eyes while using your ResMed Medical Equipment, make sure the nasal cushion is properly fitted onto the mask frame. Adjust the position of the mask and headgear straps, keeping in mind that tighter isn't always better. Check for and replace any missing plugs from the mask ports. If the nasal cushion is torn or distorted, replace it. You may also need to refit the entire mask system.

What to do if SmartStart doesn't work on my ResMed Elite Medical Equipment?
    • K
      Kevin KingAug 20, 2025
If SmartStart is enabled on your ResMed Elite Medical Equipment but the flow doesn't begin when you breathe into the mask, try taking a deeper breath in and out. Also, check for excessive leaks by adjusting the position of your mask and headgear. Ensure all plugs are in place on the mask ports, and the air tubing is firmly connected and not kinked or punctured. Verify that SmartStart is enabled. Finally, make sure you are using only the equipment recommended and supplied by ResMed.

Why won't my ResMed CPAP S6 Medical Equipment flow generator start?
    • R
      rfreemanAug 28, 2025
If your ResMed Medical Equipment flow generator does not start, first ensure the power cord is properly connected at both ends. Next, check that the flow generator is switched on using the main switch at the rear of the unit. If it still doesn't start, try plugging it into another power outlet to rule out a faulty outlet.
