How to fix ReSound Hearing Aid with no sound?
    • J
      Jason ConnerAug 11, 2025
If your ReSound Hearing Aid produces no sound, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the device is turned on by fully closing the battery door. If it's still silent, the battery might be dead, so try replacing it with a fresh one. Also, check that the battery is correctly inserted, allowing the door to close properly. Finally, a blocked earmould, tube, or wax filter can impede sound; clean the earmould or tube, or replace the wax filter. If issues persist, it is advisable to consult your hearing care professional.

Why is my ReSound M60 not loud enough?

      Jimmy AdamsAug 23, 2025
If your ReSound Hearing Aid isn't loud enough, there are a few things you can check. Make sure the earmould is correctly inserted. If it is, examine the earmould or dome for blockages and clean the earmould, replace the dome, or replace the filter. Also, a blocked sound outlet filter can reduce volume, so change the filter. If a volume control is available, try increasing the volume. If these steps don't help, consult your physician to rule out excessive ear wax or consult your hearing care professional regarding changes in hearing sensitivity.

What to do if my ReSound M60 Hearing Aid is whistling?
    • T
      Thomas ThomasAug 29, 2025
Excessive whistling or feedback from your ReSound Hearing Aid can often be resolved with a few adjustments. First, carefully re-insert the earmould or dome to ensure a proper fit. If the issue continues, the feedback control may need adjustment. It is also possible that the earmould tubing is worn or damaged, or the thin tube connection is loose. In these cases, you may need to change the thin tube. For further assistance, consult your hearing care professional.

If the sound from your ReSound Hearing Aid is distorted or unclear, start by replacing the battery, as a weak battery can often cause this issue. If changing the battery doesn't resolve the problem, consult your hearing care professional, as the improper earmould or dome fit or hearing instrument damage can be the cause.
