Overview

The Revitive Medic is a Drug-Free, Clinically Proven, Certified Medical Device designed to improve circulation and provide pain relief using Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) and Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) technologies. It is intended for home use by adults who may suffer from immobility, osteoarthritis of the knee, poor circulation, and related issues such as pain, leg stiffness, and swelling in the legs, ankles, and feet. It is also suitable for rehabilitation following knee surgery.

Function Description:

The Revitive Medic operates as a Circulation Booster® by delivering electrical stimulation to the muscles in the legs and feet. When using the SoftTouch foot-pads, the device aims to:

  • Reduce pain and discomfort in the legs, ankles, and feet caused by poor circulation (Peripheral Arterial Disease).
  • Improve circulation in the legs, particularly for those with Peripheral Arterial Disease.
  • Reduce or prevent blood-pooling (stasis) caused by chronic venous insufficiency/varicose veins.
  • Increase walking distance before the onset of claudication symptoms (pain) due to Peripheral Arterial Disease.
  • Improve symptoms associated with varicose veins/chronic venous insufficiency.
  • Help maintain leg vein health by increasing circulation, delivering more oxygenated blood, and reducing swelling (oedema) in the legs, feet, and ankles.

When using the electrode pads applied to the legs, Revitive is intended to:

  • Reduce pain and discomfort in the legs, ankles, and feet caused by Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy, or swelling (oedema) due to osteoarthritis or following surgery.
  • Reduce swelling in the legs, ankles, and feet caused by being immobile due to osteoarthritis or an injury.
  • Improve circulation to reduce or prevent blood-pooling (stasis) caused by diabetes or by being immobile following surgery.
  • Increase muscle strength to help regain mobility in the legs affected by being immobile due to COPD, osteoarthritis, or following surgery.
  • Alleviate tired, aching, and heavy legs, including cramp, reduce swollen feet and ankles, help maintain leg vein health, strengthen leg muscles, and actively increase circulation for otherwise healthy individuals with a sedentary lifestyle or long periods of inactivity.

The TENS mode, available through the electrode pads, provides:

  • Temporary relief of musculoskeletal or neuropathic pain.
  • Relief of arthritis-associated pain.
  • Relief and management of chronic pain associated with musculoskeletal pain, osteoarthritis, and fibromyalgia.
  • Relief of post-surgical and post-traumatic pain.

The device features OxyWave® Technology, which utilizes clinically proven and patented waveforms to deliver the stimulation. The IsoRocker® feature allows the device to rock up and down as muscle contractions occur, indicating sufficient intensity for therapy.
