Opening the body / engine compartment of the trike
Open the driver's seat (see p. 25) and pull the red T-handle to unlock the engine cover.
Before closing the engine cover, push the T-handle back so that the engine cover is locked again after closing.
Open the body of the ST (see pictures on page 41)
After pulling the T-handle, reach under the body (Fig. 1) directly behind the driver's seat and lift it backwards. There is a retaining bar on the inside/bottom of the
body (Fig. 2). Detach it from the bracket and insert it into one of the holes/nuts on the underside of the rod (Fig. 3). Now the body is secured. Before opening an
ST-3 body, the retaining straps must be loosened and adjusted to the maximum length! Fold the two outer seat pads forward (Fig. 4) and carefully guide the short
strap pieces with the strap loops through the corresponding openings. Make sure that the two seat belt buckles are not pinched when closing the body. (Fig. 5)
Open the body of the PUR3 (see pictures on page 41)
After pulling the T-handle, loosen the screws marked in Figure 1. Then reach under the body directly behind the driver's seat and lift it backwards. There is a
retaining bar on the inside/bottom of the body (Figure 2). Detach it from the bracket and insert it into the nut on the underside of the rod (Fig. 3). Now the body is
secured.
Open body of the LT models
Depending on the date of manufacture, the T-handle is located under the driver's seat or in the Trunk. After pulling the T-handle, you can open the engine
compartment cover to the front. To do this, grasp the roadster bracket and the side of the body gap and open the body. Release the retaining bar mounted in the
engine compartment and attach it to the nipple provided for this purpose under the body.
Open Body for GT models
The body of a GT is bolted and should only be disassembled by trained rewaco service personnel!
Attention the body of ST, LT and PUR3 is heavy! Please do this always together with another person to avoid damage to you and the trike!
