How to transport the Roamer
WARNINGS
DO NOT use the push handle to wheel the product, as this may damage the fenders and
other parts of the product.
If transporting the product in a moving motor vehicle, in order to prevent potentially unsafe
shifting/movement of the product while the vehicle is in motion:
DISCONNECT the power cable from the battery box connection port. (Spin the
metal ring counterclockwise to unlock it, grasp the head of the power cable, then
pull until it’s fully disconnected from the battery box.)
DO NOT place the product in either the driver’s seat or any passenger seat.

Transporting the product MUST be done by an adult, who is able to demonstrate the
physical and mental faculties required to understand the instructions.
At NO time while transporting the product should any person/child/pet/item(s) be seated
or placed in it.

DO NOT strap or hitch the product to the exterior (e.g. roof, door, undercarriage)
of any vehicle.
Ensure the product is fully folded, lying at, and properly secured INSIDE the trunk
of the vehicle.
Ensure NO PART of the product is exposed (e.g. hanging out of a window or open
trunk).
This product is NOT approved to be used with any tie-down system, which is
generally used to transport a seated user in an electric-powered wheelchair (or other
types of motorized rideable products) in a motor vehicle.
First ensure that both dual rear levers are switched to N (neutral/freewheel) mode. (This will
enable the Roamer to be manually wheeled during transport.)
Next, ensure the Roamer is powered off and fully folded in the upright position.
Then rmly grasp the handle at the front of the footplate.
Gradually pull the footplate handle until the Roamer’s stability feet are off the ground.

Ensure your feet are safely out of the way of all wheels and both stability feet.
Ensure the weight of the Roamer does not cause any risk of muscle strain. If you
are having difculty wheeling the Roamer, DO NOT make any further attempts
and seek assistance.
