Where is the Data Stored in the Machine?
On the GW Controller board
Paper Library, Saved Paper Library: In Flash
Memory
» If the board is broken, this data is probably all gone.
» So, after replacing the board:
– Copy the Paper Library data from the SD card (use
SP 5-711-1).
– If possible, copy the backup of the Saved Paper
Library back to the machine from SD card (use SP
5-711-2).
Custom Paper List: On the NVRAM.
» If the NVRAM is OK, this data can be transferred to the
new machine by moving the NVRAM from the old board
to the new one.
» If the NVRAM is broken, the customer will have to make
the Custom Paper List again.
