Docking the First Downstream
Peripheral
1. Connect and dock the downstream peripheral
unit to the main machine.
2. Turn on the main machine.
3. Do SP5804-210. This sets the upper path in the
decurl unit as the default paper path.
4. Turn off the main machine.
5. Make sure that the peripheral and the main
machine are aligned correctly.
Align the red reference points as shown in the
procedure in the service manual.
The procedure depends on which is the first
downstream peripheral.
