LCIT Tray Lift - Lift Sensor
While lifting the tray, the
pick-up roller is lowered

actuator into the lift sensor.

When the tray lift motor turns on, the pick-up solenoid activates to lower the pick-
up roller. When the top sheet of paper reaches the proper paper feed level, the
paper pushes up the pick-up roller and the actuator on the pick-up roller
supporter de-activates the lift sensor, to stop the tray lift motor.
After several paper feeds, the paper level gradually lowers, then the lift sensor is
activated and the tray lift motor turns on again until the lift sensor is de-activated
again.
