Other Points about the Laser Unit
 To correct color registration, the skew motor in the laser
unit adjusts the position of the mirrors.
 In some other models, a small motor attached to the BTL
does this adjustment.
 The new VCSEL technology also improves mechanical
performance by reducing the number of revolutions of the
polygon motors.
 This extends the service life of the motors and reduces
motor noise.
 Only one SP mode is required after a laser unit is replaced.
 The machine automatically detects the parameters of the
new laser unit. It is not necessary to input a lot of SP
settings.
 There are no service parts inside the laser unit. If a problem
occurs in the field, replace the laser unit.
