RIGOL Chapter 2 Functions of the Front Panel
2-44 VNA User Guide
Input/Output
Sets the input/output interface.
Input Impedance
Sets the input impedance for voltage-to-power conversion. The default input
impedance is 50 Ω. To measure a 75 Ω device, you should use a 75 Ω to 50 Ω adapter
(option) supplied by RIGOL to connect the analyzer with the system under test, and
then set the input impedance to 75 Ω.
Smith chart not only shows the reflection coefficient, but also the normalized
impedance. The impedance of the DUT can be obtained through the input
impedance. The formula for the normalized impedance is as follows:
Wherein, T
DUT
is the reflection coefficient.
When the input impedance is set to 50Ω, the impedance of the DUT is the result of
(normalized impedance * 50); when the input impedance is set to 75Ω, the
impedance of the DUT is the result of (normalized impedance * 75).
Ext Trig2
Sets Ext Trig2 to "In" or "Out".
Shortcut Key
Preset
Recalls the preset setting and restores the system settings of the analyzer to a
specified status.
Remarks:
⚫ To set the preset type, press System → Preset → Preset Type to select
"Default" or any one of the items from "User1" to "User6".
⚫ Press Preset to recall the specified factory settings or user settings.
