Open the Ring app and select 'Set Up a Device' to begin configuration.
Scan the unique device code to identify your Ring device for fast setup.
Warnings for electrical shock, fire risk, and proper grounding during installation.
Note the requirement for a 4" round UL listed weatherproof electrical box.
Turn off power to the circuit at the breaker before starting installation.
Adjust light fixtures and camera position based on mounting location.
Safely remove the old floodlight and disconnect its wires.
Select the correct screws and attach the metal mounting bracket to the junction box.
Feed power wires and secure the plastic mounting plate to the metal bracket.
Use the nylon strap to temporarily hang the fixture onto the mounting plate hook.
Connect the Floodlight Cam's green, white, and black wires using wire nuts.
Consult an electrician if unsure about wire identification or connection.
Secure the fixture with hex nuts and apply weatherproof sealant.
Turn power back on at the circuit breaker after installation.
Follow in-app instructions to complete the Floodlight Cam setup.
