Download the Ring app from the App Store or Google Play to set up your device.
Select "Set Up a Device" in the Ring app and follow the on-screen instructions for setup.
Loosen terminal screws, strip wires, insert, and tighten to secure connections.
Note that positive and negative terminals are interchangeable for wiring.
Identify a knockout on the call box or junction box at least 1/2" away from the wall.
Connect wires to desired access control terminals using included cable labels for identification.
Unscrew nut/washer, insert cable through knockout, place washer, and screw nut to secure antenna.
Ensure the puck antenna is outside the call box or junction box after installation.
Apply adhesive strips to the back of the controller and press against a clean surface for 30 seconds.
If mounting outside, drill a hole for antenna and terminal block wires.
Plug the terminal block connector into the mating connector on your Access Controller.
Attach the puck antenna connector to the antenna port on the controller until it locks.
If using Ethernet, plug the cable into the Ethernet port on the controller.
For devices mounted outside, plug into an outlet using the included USB cable and power brick.
For devices mounted inside, connect power wires to terminals 7 and 8 on the terminal block.
