2. Safety
2.1 Safety Symbols
Indicates an imminently hazardous
situation which, if not avoided, will result in
personal injury or death.
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation
which, if not avoided, could result in personal
injury or death.
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation
which, if not avoided, could result in minor
or moderate injury. It may also be used to
alert against unsafe practices.
Safety alert symbol. Alerts you to
potential hazards that can kill or
hurt you and others.
This manual contains the following important
safety symbols. Always read and obey all
safety messages.

 Repairs should be performed by a
trained and qualified professional.
 Keep the area around the furnace
clear and free from combustible
materials, gasoline, and other
flammable vapors and liquids.
 Never store liquid propane containers
indoors.
 Do not use this furnace if any part has
been under water. Immediately call a
trained and qualified professional to
inspect the furnace and to replace any
part of the control system and any gas
control which has been under water.
 This furnace is equipped with a three-
prong plug for your protection against
shock hazard and should be plugged
directly into a properly grounded three-
prong receptacle. Do not cut or remove
the ground prong from this plug.
 Any alteration to the furnace or its
controls can be dangerous.
 Do not operate the furnace with the
panels removed, cracked or broken.
Replacement of the panels should be
performed by a trained and qualified
professional.
