Regular maintenance is crucial for the range hood's efficiency and longevity. The manual recommends wiping the exterior of the product after each cooking session. For the oil net, frequent cleaning is advised, especially after frying. Users are cautioned against using industrial cleaning agents containing acetone or butanone, as these can damage the hydrophilic coating on the oil net. Instead, a neutral detergent and a soft cloth are recommended. Stains should not be left on the hood surface for extended periods.
The oil cup requires regular checking and cleaning. Users are instructed to hold the oil cup with both hands, pull it out, and pour out the waste oil when the oil level reaches 2/3 or near the tick mark.
For deeper cleaning, the filter can be removed. This involves entering the cleaning lock state, unplugging the power supply, and then pulling the two portable holes on the filter outwards to release it from the slot. Once removed, the filter can be cleaned.
