Function Description
The ROBAM Range Hood is designed for domestic use to extract cooking fumes and odors from the kitchen. It is intended for general ventilation purposes and should not be used to exhaust dangerous or explosive materials or vapors. The range hood features various operational modes, including lighting, cleaning, turbo/high speed, and low speed, controlled via a touch panel and wave induction.

Usage Features
The range hood offers a user-friendly interface with touch controls and wave induction for various functions:
- Power: Pressing the power button enters standby mode, with the icon illuminated. If only the light is on, pressing it again turns off the light. If the fan is running, pressing the power button makes the icon flash, and the range hood enters a 1-minute delay status before automatically turning off. If the icon is flashing, pressing it again turns off all functions. If there is no operation within 3 minutes in standby, it enters the off state.
- Turbo/High Speed: When the power is on, the first press activates turbo gear (icon flashes for 3 minutes, then switches to high gear and the icon stays on). The second press activates high gear (icon stays on). The third press turns off the high speed function.
- Low Speed: When the power is on, pressing the low speed button activates low speed (icon stays on), and the impeller rotates at a low speed for smoke extraction. Pressing it again turns off the low speed function.
- Lighting: Pressing the light button turns the light on. Pressing it again turns the light off.
- Clean: After 60 hours of cumulative operation, the clean icon flashes to remind the user to clean the oil screen. At this time, long pressing the clean button, and the clean icon is always on to enter the cleaning mode (the fan stops and the air valve opens). Other buttons are invalid except the cleaning and lighting buttons. The user can clean the oil screen. After cleaning, long press this button, and the cleaning icon is off to exit the cleaning mode and clear the cumulative time. Or long press the cleaning button in normal state to enter the cleaning mode.
- Wave Induction: This machine features infrared wave induction function. If a hand moves within a certain distance in front of the infrared probe, the range hood will respond automatically. In off mode, the first wave activates turbo function. The second wave activates turbo function. The third wave stops the fan.
Maintenance Features
Regular maintenance is crucial for the range hood's performance and longevity.
- General Cleaning: The range hood should be regularly cleaned and maintained to keep the body clean and ensure the use effect according to the use environment conditions, to extend the service life. It is recommended to wipe the outer surface of the product after each cooking. Do not use strong detergent. It is recommended to clean with neutral detergent and dry with soft cloth. Your range hood has a mechanical switch, prevent the detergent from touching the control keys.
- Oil Cup Cleaning: Check and clean the oil cup regularly. When more than 2/3 of the oil cup has accumulated, clean it immediately to prevent overflow. The collected waste oil should not be consumed.
- Filter Cleaning: The filter should be cleaned when the oil cup is cleaned. To remove the filter, long press the cleaning button to open the air deflector, then gently pull the two magnetic clasps on the filter outwards to release it, lift the filter upwards, and then pull it out for cleaning.
- Lamp Removal: To replace the lamp, long press the cleaning button to open the air deflector, unplug the power, unscrew the two screws on the small cover plate, remove the small cover plate, push out the lamp from the inside, and unplug the connecting wire.
- Switch Removal: To replace the switch, long press the cleaning button to open the air deflector, unplug the power, unscrew the two screws on the small cover plate, remove the small cover plate, pull out the switch assembly, and unplug the connecting wire.
- Disassembly: The range hood body generally does not require disassembly. Any disassembly, installation, or maintenance should be performed by professional personnel to avoid electric shock or injury. Always cut off power before cleaning, installation, or maintenance. Wear protective gloves when handling components to prevent injury from sharp edges.
Important Safety Precautions for Maintenance:
- Never clean the range hood with water directly or allow electrical components to get wet, as this can lead to electric shock.
- Do not use flammable sprays for cleaning.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
- Ensure the range hood is properly grounded.
- Do not use extension cords. If the power cord is too short, have a qualified electrician install an outlet nearby.
