1. To change the kitchen timer settings while the radio is in standby, press
and hold the Alarm button. If the radio is in use, press and release the
Alarm button. This will cause the Alarms menu to be displayed. Then skip
to step 3 below.
2. Alternatively you may access the kitchen timer settings using the main
menu. Press the Menu button to access the menu for the current mode.
Rotate the Tuning/Select control until ‘Main menu’ is highlighted on the
display. Press the control to enter the Main menu.
3. Rotate the Tuning/Select control until ‘Kitchen Timer’ is highlighted on
the display and press the control.
4. Rotate the Tuning/Select control until the required kitchen timer setting
is selected. The kitchen timer can be set to between 1 and 300 minutes,
or to Off.
5. Press the Tuning/Select control to con rm the setting. An active kitchen
timer is shown on the standby display or on the top of the playing displays.
The indicator also shows the time remaining.
6. When the selected time has elapsed, the buzzer will sound.
7. To cancel the buzzer when it sounds press the On/Standby button.
To cancel the kitchen timer before the elapsed time has expired go to step
4 above and select the Off option.

The Kitchen Timer allows you to set the radio to alert you after a pre-determined interval (up to 5 hours
in 1 minute increments). The kitchen timer can be set while the radio is in Standby or whilst in use.
