Backlight
The backlight level can be adjusted in the system menu. When the unit is
connected to USB power, the backlight will stay at the chosen level. When
operating on batteries, the backlight will dim to save power.
The Clock
The clock in this radio is equipped to receive a DAB radio frequency time
signal. After the unit has been turned on, it will automatically tune into a
DAB radio station and update the clock. In order for the clock to synchronise
to the current local time you must leave it on one DAB station for a short
period of time.
You can manually set the time and date if you prefer. Do this via the ‘Time’
menu, and select ‘set time & date’ option. You will also need to set ‘Auto
Update’ to ‘NO UPDATE’ for your preferred time/date to be kept. Note,
without power, the User set time will not be retained.
