DX\Local Switch
When listening to SW\FM stations, this switch adjusts
the radios sensitivity. When listening to strong stations
and the signal is slightly distorted, set the DX\Local switch
to the Local position. For normal or weak stations, set
the switch to the DX position for maximum sensitivity.

SW External Antenna socket
To improve SW reception you can connect an optional
external antenna directly (Roberts AER-1) to the SW EXT
ANT socket located on the left hand end of your radio.
Inserting a plug into this socket will automatically
disconnect your radios built in antenna.
