Ensure the saw blade is fully retracted below the table surface before starting assembly.
Place Sled Body on table, adjust for play, and position at front of saw.
Install Hex Bolts and Cap Nuts on Blade Guard, slide into T-track, and tighten.
Set saw blade height to max 2" above table surface using Drop-Off Ramp markings.
Push sled through blade to cut MDF insert, stopping before blade exits guard.
Place Safety Miter Stop in miter slot to prevent sled advancing too far.
Insert MDF Zero-Clearance Insert into sled grooves and secure with screws.
Push sled through blade to cut the MDF insert to its final size.
Secure Drop-Off Ramp to sled, aligned with the kerf, using screws.
Ensure Safety Miter Stop and Blade Guard are installed and correctly positioned.
Confirm table saw miter track is 3/4" x 3/8" for safe operation.
Note maximum cutting capacity is 1" thick and 5½" wide.
Verify sled slides in miter track and blade height is no more than 2".
Align workpiece against back fence, matching cut mark with saw kerf.
Push sled forward with proper hand placement until Safety Miter Stop is contacted.
Guidelines for pulling sled back while saw is running, if conditions allow.
Reinstall table saw riving knife and blade guard after finishing sled use.
