Das i-XY wurde speziell auf die Arbeit mit der “RØDE Rec”
App abgestimmt, die im App Store erhältlich ist.
Allerdings kann man das i-XY auch mit anderen Audio-Apps
verwenden.

Das i-XY muss mit dem Apple Dock-Anschluss Ihres iPhone,
iPad oder iPod verbunden werden.
Schieben Sie den Stecker des i-XY so weit in den Anschluss,

• Never let the i-XY get wet
• When not in use or in transit keep the i-XY in
its protective pouch to prevent any knocks or
scratches, and stop dust and moisture from
settling on the microphone capsules
• For long periods of storage we recommend
placing the i-XY inside a small plastic bag
along with a bag of absorbent silica gel
• The XY stereo pattern of the
i-XY works a lot like your ears. To find the
best position for your i-XY when recording
just move your head around until you find the
‘sweet spot’ and position the i-XY there!
• Be sure to monitor the recording level.
RØDE Rec provides a variable input level
and headphone monitoring to ensure you’re
always aware of what you’re recording
• Always keep the i-XY at hand. Its protective
pouch can be easily attached to a bag zipper
or your belt, so there’s no excuse for being
caught out
• Remember to always use the provided
windshield when recording outdoors. Even
if there’s no wind evident it’s better to be
safe than sorry. The RØDE DeadKitten

Tipps für die Aufnahme
• Die XY-Stereoanordnung des i-XY entspricht der
Funktionsweise des menschlichen Gehörs. Zur
Ermittlung der optimalen Aufstellungsposition für
Ihr i-XY reicht es daher, dass man mit Ihren Ohren
ermittelt, wo die Schallquelle am besten klingt (die
Position nennt man den “Sweet Spot”).
• Behalten Sie den Aufnahmepegel im Auge.
“RØDE Rec” erlaubt die Einstellung des
Aufnah mepegels und die Arbeit mit einem
Kopfhörer. Nutzen Sie die App, um peinlichen
Überraschungen vorzubeugen.
• Am besten machen Sie das i-XY zu einem festen
Bestandteil Ihres Setups. Sein Transportetui
kann bequem am Gürtel oder einer Tragetasche
befestigt werden. So sind Sie jederzeit
