OWNER’S MANUAL
We'd like to take a moment to thank you for purchasing the Roland GC-405 (GC-
405X) Guitar Amplifier.
The Roland GC-405 Guitar Amplifier features four 12 cm (5 inch) speakers, and
dishes out heavy, tight Rock sounds in spite of its compact body. Moreover, it
comes with the latest Tube Logic Technology “HOT,” which relies on Roland’s
expertise in analog electronic technology. It is very good for drive sounds and
sustained distortion. It also allows you to reproduce acoustic and dynamic bass
sounds by using the four newly developed, custom speakers—enhancing to the
full the GC-405 sounds.
The GC-405X allows as many as 8 speakers to be stacked and connected together,
making the sounds more powerful.
* The GC-405X is a unit that includes the GC-405 Guitar Amplifier and the speak-
er box.
Before using this unit, carefully read the sections entitled: “IMPORTANT SAFE-
TY INSTRUCTIONS” (p. 2), “USING THE UNIT SAFELY” (p. 3), and “IMPOR-
TANT NOTES” (p. 4). These sections provide important information concerning
the proper operation of the unit. Additionally, in order to feel assured that you
have gained a good grasp of every feature provided by your new unit, this manu-
al should be read in its entirety. The manual should be saved and kept on hand as
a convenient reference.
