BK-7m System Update Version 1.06
IMPORTANT NOTE:
To upgrade to version 1.06, you MUST currently have version 1.05 installed. If
you have an earlier version, you must update to version 1.05 first, BEFORE you
update to version 1.06.
System Update By USB
1. Connect a formatted USB flash drive to your computer.
***The USB flash drive needs to be formatted with MS-DOS file system (FAT or
FAT32) on a PC. A computer with a USB connector ( Windows, Mac )
2. Open the update folder named BK7m_VER106.
3. Copy the six files located in this folder to the root directory of your USB flash
drive.
***You must copy the six individual files and not the entire folder. The six files
should read as follows: PROGRAM.BIN, release.txt, rom.bin, romsum.txt,
startup, update***
4. Properly eject the USB flash drive from your computer.
5. Power off the BK7m and connect the USB flash drive to the USB memory
connector located on the back of the unit.
6. Press and hold the [WRITE] button and power on the unit.
7. After a while, the LCD will show the update page.
8. Release the [WRITE] button.
***Never power off the unit while the update is in progress***
9. Wait for the “SUCCESS” message.
10. Power off then back on to reboot the unit.
