Connecting the GA-FC EX/GA-FC to the KATANA Mk II
Connections
Connect the GA-FC jack on the KATANA Mk II with a stereo cable.
A stereo cable must be used.

Switching Between Operating Modes on the GA-FC EX/GA-FC
Press the [EFFECTS] switch on the GA-FC EX/GA-FC to switch between the operating modes of the GA-FC EX/GA-FC.
To switch between function modes, keep the [EFFECTS] switch pressed down for at least one second.

Using an Expression Pedal and Footswitch
Connect an expression pedal (FV-500L, FV-500H, and Roland EV-5; sold separately) to control the volume and other parameters with your foot.
If a footswitch (FS-5U; sold separately) is connected, you can use it to switch between the TONE SETTING’s BANK A/B, or to set the delay time (TAP).

To use a third expression pedal, set the [MODE] switch to “EXP PEDAL 3” (only
on amps for which the GA-FC EX is supported).
