Connecting the GA-FC EX/GA-FC to the KATANA Mk II
Connecting a Second GA-FC EX (or GA-FC)
When the [MODE] switch on the GA-FC EX is set to “EXPAND”, you can connect a second GA-FC EX (or GA-FC).
As an example, you can switch between channels on the rst unit and between eects on the second unit.

Connecting to a Second Amp (Amp 1 and Amp2)
When the [MODE] switch on the GA-FC EX is set to “FOOT CONTROL 2”, you can connect a second amp (only amps that are compatible with the
GA-FC EX).

Switching between amps to control
When two amps are connected to this unit, you can switch between amps to control either one.
Press the two switches (as shown below) at the same time for at least one second to switch.
Switches Amps to control Explanation
[CH 2] switch + [CH 3] switch CONTROL 1 Controls the CONTROL 1 amp.
[CH 3] switch + [CH 4] switch CONTROL 1&2
Controls the CONTROL 1 and CONTROL 2 amps at the same time.
This lets you use the two amps as a dual amp, both with the same settings.
* The indicators on the GA-FC EX light up according to the CONTROL 1 settings.
* If you switch to using either CONTROL 1 or CONTROL 2 while using CONTROL
1&2, the indicator displays on the amps (such as their on/o state) may not
match what you see on the GA-FC EX.
[CH 4] switch + [PANEL] switch CONTROL 2 Controls the CONTROL 2 amp.
