Added the parameter "Clock Out" in "System Settings." This parameter
can control ON/OFF settings for transmitting the F8(Timing Clock)
message.

Alleviated the feelings of the tone interrupting when performing with
layered tones using combinations of Piano and Strings.
The following bug is fixed.
When receiving the Data Request (RQ1) messages of the
System Exclusive messages, the requested data was not
output.
What you will need to update your RD-700NX
RD-700NX
USB Memory ( Roland's M-UF2G is recommended )
* The USB Memory needs to be formatted on a RD-700NX.
A computer with a USB connector (Windows XP/Vista/7, MacOS X v10.4.3
or later)
Update file
Cautions with the update
When you perform this update, it will initialize your Live Set that was saved
in the User bank.
You should save the Live Set on a USB memory before you perform the
update.
Refer to the following section from the Owner's Manual for the detailed
procedure.
Saving a Live Set File ( LIVE SET Save )
Call up the Live Set from the USB memory after the update completes.
We recommend that you back up your Live Set files and Songs stored in the
internal memory to a USB memory before you perform the update although
RD-700NX keeps the data with normal updating.

procedure.

Copying a Song (SONG Copy)
Never apply this update data to any product other than the RD-700NX. This
update data may destroy the data or system program of other products.
Never power-off your RD-700NX while the update is in progress!
If a power failure or similar accident occurs during the update process, the
RD-700NX won’t be able to start up in normal operating mode. This will
require servicing, so you will need to contact Roland service center near
