Please Read This First
In order to use the VG-88 to its fullest potential, please note the following points.

Driver settings
Even slight variations in the conditions pertaining to a particular divided pickup installation can
significantly affect the resulting tonal quality when the VG-88 is used. To effectively compensate for
such divergences in tonal quality, be sure to properly complete the driver settings. (p. 18)
A scale is shown below. Use this when making the necessary measurements.

About the select switch on the GK pickup (e.g., GK-3 or GK-2A)
Be sure to set the select switch on the GK-3 or GK-2A to the MIX position.

About the US-20
If you are using the US-20 in conjunction with the VG-88, set the GK FUNC parameter SYNTH VOL to
MASTER LEVEL. (p. 57)
●
Should you fail to use the GK cable, and instead, you use a standard phone
cable to connect a conventional guitar to the GUITAR INPUT, the following
functions cannot be used:
• COSM GUITAR
• Tuner
• HARMONIST effect
• P.SHIFTER effect, when the MODE is set to “MONO”
• PD SHIFT, when the MODE is set to “MONO”
