How to assemble the appliance
Attention: Hazard of injury!
• Do not touch the sharp-edged blade! Always handle cutting
tools with care to avoid injuries!
How to switch-off the appliance
ATTENTION: Before assembling the appliance, always unplug the
power cord from the socket!
• Before assembling the appliance, make sure it is switched-off. To do so,
turn the rotary knob to the left to “OFF”-position.
How to install the blade unit
• Turn the glass jar upside down and place it on an even non-slip surface.
• Place the seal ring on the blade unit.
• Carefully insert the blade unit with inserted seal ring into the glass jug.
While doing so, pay attention to the correct position of the seal ring.
• Place the screw ring on the thread of the glass jug.
• Tighten the screw ring clockwise.
NOTE: Only a correctly positioned seal ring as well as a tight fi t of the screw ring ensure that the glass jug
is tight!
