3. Possibilities of use
The appliance is suitable for:
• chopping fresh ingredients, like herbs, onions, potatoes, raw fruit and vegetables, berries etc.
• puréeing cooked vegetables and fruit, e.g. for soups, sauces and healthy baby food.
• mixing all kinds of drinks and cocktail.
• preparing smoothies and milk shakes.
• crushing small amounts of ice cubes.
The appliance is not suitable for chopping very hard foods, e. g. coffee beans, nutmeg, grains, choco-
late blocks, fruits with pits, nuts etc.
4. Features
Pulse function
The pulse function allows for mixing, blending and chopping foods with sequences of short power
bursts. This function runs with maximum rotation speed.
5. How to disassemble and assemble your appliance
• Attention: Risk of injury! Do not touch the blade! Always
handle cutting tools with care to avoid injuries!
• Attention! Only disassemble the appliance at standstill!
• Attention! The jar is made of glass and thus, it is fragile!
Handle the glass jar with care to avoid injuries due to
breakage of glass!
• Before assembling the unit make sure it is switched off.
• To do so, turn the rotary knob to the left to position “0“ and disconnect the power plug.
5.1 Disassembling the appliance
Take hold at the handle
and turn the glass jar
anticlockwise in order
to loosen it.
Remove the lid from the
glass jar by gripping the
plastic lip at the lid`s
front.
Unlock the small
measuring cup by
turning it anticlock-
wise to the stop, then
remove it.
Hold the blade unit from
below and turn the glass
jar anticlockwise. The
gasket can be removed
cautiously.
