9.3 Operating the appliance
Turn the rotary knob to position “1“ to blend in low speed.
Turn the rotary knob to position “2“ to blend in high speed.
Turn the rotary knob on “P“(pulse) to briefly blend in high speed.
Turn the rotary knob to position “0“ to swith into standby mode.
9.4 Refilling ingredients
Attention: Risk of injury! Do not touch the running blade –
neither stir in the glass jar with a spoon or other objects!
Ingredients can be refilled any time via the small filling hole in the lid.
First turn to position “1“.
Remove the small measuring cup.
Pour the ingredients gradually in (observe the max. filling quantity!). The measuring cup may
serve as a dosing aid.
Refit and lock the small measuring cup.
Now the speed can be increased by turning the rotary knob to position “2“.
In case ingredients stick inside the glass jar, switch the appliance off and disconnect the power
plug. Then release the ingredients from the walls of the glass jar by means of a dough scraper!
9.5 Switching off completely
Turn the rotary knob to position “0“. Now the unit is in standby mode.
For a complete switch off it is necessary to pull the power plug!
10. Cleaning and maintenance
Always unplug the appliance before cleaning!
Never immerse base unit, power cord and plug in water or
clean them under running water!
Attention: Risk of injury! Do not touch the blade!
Handle cutting tools with care to avoid injuries!
10.1 Quick cleaning during work
Fill the empty glass jar with some water and a drop of dishwashing detergent then firmly close
the lid.
By a short activation of the Pulse function, the cleaning process gets started. The instructions
under point “9. Operation” must be adhered too.
Then pour out the wash water and rinse the jar with clear water.
10.2 Thorough cleaning after work
Clean the appliance immediately after use so that residues will not dry up.
Highly pigmented food (e. g. carrots) may stain the appliance’s plastic parts or accessories. Wipe
those parts with some cooking oil before cleaning them.
The glass jar without blade unit is dishwasher convenient.
Remove all detachable parts from the base unit.
