0 Standby mode
The appliance is in standby mode
and is not processing any function.
1 Low speed The appliance blends in low speed.
2 High speed The appliance blends in high speed.
P Pulse function
The appliance blends as long as the
dial is turned in high speed.
9. Operation
Attention: The appliance is designed for a max. continuous
operation time of 2 minutes under full loading. If this time
has been reached, the appliance has to cool down for at
least 10 minutes. If this is not observed, the motor might be
damaged!
Prior to each use make sure the blade unit and the gasket
are positioned correctly and the blade unit got screwed in
tightly!
Attention: Risk of injury! The appliance has a delayed motor
stop – therefore, do not remove the lid from the glass jar
before it has stopped!
Attention: Risk of injury! Do not touch the running blade –
neither stir in the glass jar with a spoon or other objects!
Attention: Risk of injury! Mind a secure fitting of the lid. Only
work with lid closed firmly!
9.1 Filling the glass jar
The appliance must be switched off. For this turn the rotary knob to the left to position “0“ and
disconnect the power plug.
Remove the lid from the glass jar.
Fill the glass jar with food (observe the max. filling quantity!).
Place the lid with included measuring cup on the glass jar and press it on firmly. The plastic lip
must cover the spout.
9.2 Starting/stopping the appliance
Before plugging the appliance in, make sure that the rotary knob is in position “0“!
Connect the appliance to the mains, now the unit is in the standby mode, displayed by a perma-
nently glowing pilot lamp.
