Date in the User Bits of Timecode
This chapter provide an overview of how the SRG-2200 inserts and reads the user bits in time code to decode date
and time zone information.
The SRG-2200 supports two methods of date information in the user bits of LTC and VITC:
SMPTE 309M-1999 using YYMMDD format, with or without encoded time zone information
EBU I29-1995/ITU-R BR.1353 Appendix 2 or commonly known in the industry as ITU/Legacy/BBC format
