Caution: – You may not interrupt the decalcifying program.
– Never use vinegar or acidic liquids for decalcifying your coffee machine;
only use Durgol or a similar product.
•Press the service button (7) ca. 2 sec. The display shows EMPTY trays.
• Empty the drip pan (9b) and slide it back in. The display shows DECALC IN TANK.
• Remove the water tank (17).
• Fill it with decalcifying liquid along with the correct amount of water (follow the
manufacturer's instructions) to fill it ONL

to the 0.5 l mark.
• Replace the tank. The display shows TURN valve.
TIP: Place a sufficiently large receptacle (ca. 0.5 l) under the steam/hot water jet (12).
• Open the steam/hot water dial (11) by turning clockwise.
• The coffee machine will automatically decalcify and the solution will flow through
the hot water jet (12) at intervals (ca. 10 min.).
•Wait until the next message appears in the display: TURN valve.
• Close the dial (11) again by turning it counterclockwise.
• The decalcifying solution will now flow through the inner outlet in intervals (ca. 15 min.).
•Wait until the next message appears in the display: EMPTY trays.
• Empty the drip pan (9b). The display shows FILL WATER.
• Fill the water tank (17) with fresh water. The display shows TURN Valve.
• Open the dial (11) by turning it clockwise.
• The system will be rinsed again through the steam/hot water jet (12) in intervals (ca.
5 min.). The display shows TURN Valve.
• Close the dial (11) again by turning it counterclockwise.
• The system is rinsed through the inner outlet in intervals (ca. 5 min.). The display
shows EMPTY trays.
• Empty the drip pan (9b) and reinsert it. The system will heat up briefly. The display
shows PLEASE RINSE and the service button (7) blinks.
•Press the service button (7) and the system will be rinsed through the coffee out-
let (8).
•Your coffee machine is ready for operation again.
Manual decalcifying
If you want, you may start the decalcifying program without a prior alarm showing:
•Press the programming button P in order to start program mode.
•Press the > button until the display shows DECALC.
•Press the ok button. The display shows Man.decalc.
•Press the ok button. The display shows EMPTY trays.
• Continue as above for «Empty the drip pan (9b)...».

If you start the manual decalcifying program by accident, you may interrupt it
by pressing the on/off button (2) for a few seconds.
