Why does my Rotem Platinum PLUS Controller display many error messages?

  The Rotem Controller may display many error messages because the I/O BUS (I2C) or the Switch BUS (I2C) is stuck. To resolve this: * Disconnect the bridge card between the CPU card and the switch bus. * Check if the LED on the alarm card is blinking. * If the LED is not blinking, the problem likely lies within one of the I/O cards. You'll need to identify the faulty card. * If the LED is blinking, a switch card or the switch bus itself is causing the I2C bus problem. You'll need to identify the faulty switch card.

How to fix Rotem Platinum PLUS Controller when LEDs in the switches and alarm cards are not blinking?

  If the LEDs in the switches and alarm cards of your Rotem Controller are not blinking, it might be because one of the I/O cards holds the I2C BUS. To resolve this issue: 1. Disconnect all of the input/output cards (Analog Input, Analog Output, Digital Input, Load Cell Card) one by one and check if the Alarm card LED starts blinking (or the sensors are read correctly). 2. If you can’t find the faulty card this way, use a known spare card to check if CPU recognizes it. If not, replace the CPU card. Check that all the jumpers and Flat cables between the cards are properly installed and plugged into the right place.

  If the LED in the switch card of your Rotem Controller is off, it indicates that the switch card and its related relay card are not working. First, replace the relay card. If the problem continues, then replace the switch card as well.
