BA ROTEX HPSU compact 2 - 04/2011
[3] - Automatic restart
Once the power is restored after a power cut, the function "Automatic restart" applies the settings that were on the main control
unit (HPR1) when the power was disrupted.
When the power supply to the HPSU compact is restored after a power cut, if the function "Automatic restart" is
deactivated, the program clock is not switched on. You must restart the program clock manually by pressing the
key once.
Therefore we recommend leaving the function "Automatic restart" activated.
The following setting options are available:
[3-00] Status:
0 = Function "Automatic restart" is switched on.
1 = Function "Automatic restart" is switched off.
[4] - Operation of optional additional heating and switch-off temperature for room heating
The operation of the optional backup heater (BUH) in the integrated storage tank of the HPSU compact can be switched on or
off overall , or its operation can be switched off depending on the operation of the optional booster heater (BOH).
The following parameters are available to be set
(1:
[4-00] Status: 0 = Backup heater (BUH) is switched off, 1 = Backup heater (BUH) is switched on.
[4-01] Priority:
0 = Backup heater (BUH) and booster heater (BOH) can be operated simultaneously.
1 = Booster heater (BOH) has priority over the backup heater (BUH).
[4-02] Switching off room heating in the summer: Outside temperature (outdoors), at which the room heating is switched off
so that the rooms are not overheated.
[4-02] Switching off room heating: Outside temperature (outdoors), at which the room heating is switched off so that the
rooms are not overheated.
[4-03] Operation of an additional heating unit: Determines whether operation of the optional additional heating is activated
(1) or limited (0).
(1 The operation of the booster or backup heater is dependent on the settings of the operating parameters BOH* and BUH* on the additional control
unit HPRA1!
CAUTION!
If the priority of the parameter [4-01] is set to 0 and at least one of the commissioning parameters BOH
TYPE or
BUH
TYPE on the additional control unit HPRA1 is set to >0, it must be ensured beforehand that the current
consumption does not exceed the mains load.
Current peaks that occur when a network in the power supply network of the domestic installation fails, it can
cause material damage to electrical current consumers.
Only with installation of backup heater (BUH):
When the priority of the parameter [4-01] is set to 1, the heating output for the room heating of the
HPSU compact can be reduced for lower outside temperatures. This can arise when the backup heater (BUH)
always is not available to the room heating system when hot water must be heated (the room is heated by the
heat pump).
If the parameter [4-03] is set to 0, the optional additional heaters are only switched for the performance of
the "Anti-legionella system" function (see section "[2] - Anti-legionella system", page 32) or when the high
temperature request is initiated for the hot water supply.
