Attention!
The power wheelchair controller may be programmed with a lock mode function to prevent un-
authorized use. The locking method is achieved one of two ways, depending on the controller and
programming.
ToLockthePowerWheelchairControllerUsingtheControlPanel(VR2andR-Net)
With the controller powered on, press and hold the on/off button.
After 1 second the controller will beep. Release the on/off button.
Push the joystick forward until you hear a beep.
Push the joystick in reverse until you hear a beep.
Release the joystick. There will be a long beep.
The control system is now locked.
ToUnlockthePowerWheelchairControllerUsingtheControlPanel(VR2andR-Net)
Press the on/off button to power on the controller. The maximum speed indicator will be rippling
up and down.
Push the joystick forward until you hear a beep.
Push the joystick in reverse until you hear a beep.
Release the joystick. There will be a long beep.
The control system is now unlocked.

With the controller powered on, insert and remove the key from the charging port.
The control system is now locked.
ToUnlockthePowerWheelchairControllerUsingaKey(R-Netonly)
Press the on/off button to power on the controller. The maximum speed indicator will be rippling
up and down. Insert and remove the key from the charging port.
The control system is now unlocked.
