INFLATABLE KAYAK LAGO
Check the proper working order of the boat and equipment :
Check the pressure.
Inspect the valve plugs.
Check that the load is well distributed inside the boat.
Make sure that all safety equipment is in the boat (Read the rules to follow depending on where you are
sailing and check if all the equipment is necessary) :
A buoyancy aid vest.
The inflator, the oars, the repair kit with the tools.
Any other mandatory equipment.
The boat’s papers and your navigation permit (if necessary).
Lights if you sail in the dark.
Rules to be observed during navigation
Be responsible, do not neglect safety rules, this can endanger your life and that of others.
Learn to keep control of your boat at all times.
Respect local rules and practices.
Near the coast, navigate in the area provided for this purpose.
Remember that weather can deteriorate quickly. Always make sure you can reach the shore quickly.
Always wear a buoyancy aid vest.
Do not consume alcohol or drugs before or during navigation. Keep passengers sober.
Do not exceed the number of people or the authorized weight.
Make sure passengers remain seated. At cruising speed, in rough water or during tight turns, all
passengers must be seated on the seats or on the bottom of the boat.
Be very careful when docking. You can injure your legs and arms if they are outside the boat.
Stay away from swimmers and divers. Always avoid areas where swimmers and divers are in the water.
Be very careful when sailing near beaches or boat sites. The Alpha flag indicates the presence of divers.
You must respect a safety distance set by local laws, which is generally between 50 and 91 meters.
Do not make sudden course changes without warning passengers.
Avoid contact between the safety inner tube and sharp objects or corrosive liquids (such as acid).
Do not smoke on board.
