USER MANUAL
7. MAINTENANCE
Your boat is made from the best materials and meets ISO 6185 standards. Any modification to the structure
of your boat will endanger your safety, that of the passengers and will void the warranty!
To keep your kayak for several years, you will need to take a few precautions. Do not store it inflated. For
storage, choose a healthy, dry and frost-free place. Clean and dry your kayak thoroughly before storing it to
prevent the growth of mould.
Use as few cleaning products as possible, do not pour used products into the water, and clean your boat
preferably on land.
Clean your boat after each use to avoid damage from sand, salt water or sunlight.
Dirt can usually be removed with a garden hose, sponge and mild soap. Make sure your boat is completely
dry before storing it. Store the product and accessories in a dry place, with a temperature between 0°C and
40°C.
8. DISASSEMBLY AND STORAGE
Start by washing your boat by following the instructions in the Maintenance section. Open all valves and
deflate the boat completely. Remove all accessories from the boat: rod holders, oars, storage pockets for
equipment and battery.
• Turn the boat over.
• Fold the left part of the boat then the right part on the left part.
• Fold the front of the boat twice to the centre, emptying the rest of the air; repeat this operation for the
rear.
• Fold the two opposite parts over each other as when you close a book.
• Your boat is now ready for storage.
• Carefully bend your boat by rolling it to avoid any sharp angles that could damage the boat.
