Before leaving the coast or port
Get the necessary information and inform other passengers :
Learn the basics of boat and rescue safety.
Find out about local regulations and risks related to water activities and navigation.
Check the weather forecasts, water currents, tides and winds present.
Tell someone ashore about your itinerary and your expected departure and arrival time.
Explain to passengers how the boat works.
Make sure that one of your passengers can steer the boat in an emergency.
Learn to determine the distances you can cover and remember that poor weather conditions can
change them.
Review all security conditions regularly.
Adjustable seats
Your kayak is equipped with one (or more) adjustable seat(s) with a high and very comfortable backrest.
Attach the side straps of the backrest to the rings D on the kayak chambers. Adjust the lengths of the
straps according to the needs and size of the user.
Drain plugs
Your kayak is equipped with a drain plug located on the bottom at the back. When the cap is opened,
this self-draining system allows rapid water evacuation when used in white water. The cap can be closed
(before launching) in calm water to avoid water ingress and keep the kayak dry.
