56 Water and steam will wash scale and dust through the soleplate,
and into the sink.
57 When the reservoir is empty, release the C button.
58 Unplug the iron, and sit it on its heel to cool.
59 When it’s cold, wipe off any moisture.
C CLEANING
60Unplug the iron and let it cool down fully.
61 Wipe outer surfaces with a damp cloth.
62 Remove spots from the soleplate with a dab of vinegar – don’t
scratch it.
63 Don’t use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.
F ANTI-SCALE
64 The anti-scale agent incorporated in the iron helps prevent the
build-up of scale.
65 Don’t use a descaling solution, or you’ll destroy the anti-scale
agent.
D WIRING INSTRUCTIONS UK plugs only
The product must be earthed.
It has a 13A BS1362 fuse in a 13A BS1363 plug. To
replace the plug, fit the green/yellow wire to E or E,
the blue wire to N, and the brown wire to L. Fit the cord
grip. If in doubt, call an electrician. Don’t use a non-
rewireable plug unless the fuse cover is in place. If you
remove the plug, dispose of it.
