Carefully remove the tool and any accessories from the box. Ensure all items listed in the packing list are included.
Connects the attachment to the power head using a coupler device and securing it.
Remove securing bolts and bracket from the front handle and attach it to the upper shaft.
Connect the latch on the shoulder strap to the strap hanger and adjust for balance.
Handle fuel safely, mix fuel correctly, and fill the tank properly.
Learn the procedures for starting a cold or warm engine and stopping the engine.
Engine uses Champion RCJ-6Y or equivalent spark plug. Use an exact replacement.
Drain fuel, clean equipment, and store in a well-ventilated place inaccessible to children.
A leaking fuel cap is a fire hazard and must be replaced. Check filter and check valve.
Check power switch, spark, fuel level, flooded engine, starter rope, and fuel age.
Engine requires approx. three minutes to warm up. Contact dealer if not accelerating.
Idle speed screw on carburetor requires adjustment. Contact servicing dealer if problem persists.
Check oil/fuel mixture, air filter, and spark arrestor screen.
